I heard they are using Indians and hiring H1B workers to replace those citizens who were layed off last year at Air Center. It is hard to believe they would actually do this.

I am out too.
I am going to jump ship as soon as I can.
They are cheaper than you and better at the job than you. It’s time you and people like you look inward
Time and again the incompetent always blame the immigrants and poor people for their own miseries. This is not just in the US, but everywhere else. The job-market is going through "The Great Resignation". This is the best time to switch jobs and careers. If you really put your time and effort, you could land a better job with better salary. Your rage should be on the management, not on the vulnerable.
Air Center’s problems are far beyond hiring cheap Indian H1B labor. There are way too many good ‘ol boys, for one.
I want a pay cut in return for free pies every day at dinner time.
I don't think they lay-off their H1Bs. The benefit to the company is that they can pay them lower wages, demand more from them (longer hours), and the H1Bs have no negotiating power.
I'd work for pies
Duh it's called capitalism.
No immigrant ever took your job.
The capitalist "job creators" wanted more billions to themselves and decided paying Americans a livable middle class wage was not as profitable.
H1B workers are replacing many US citizen workers. Worse yet is all the offshore workers that NOV employs. Many companies in the US are doing this. We need to put US workers back to work in these positions.
No with Joe Biden. Lololol
I can tell you if an H1b workers want to stay in the US and get their green card, nobody will work for NOV due to constant lay-offs. Once H1b workers are laid off, their visa will be invalid and become illegals. If they couldn't find similar title jobs within next 60 days which new employers want to give them H1b sponsorship, they will be kicked out of the US instantaneously.
