Last full-time pay and vacation payout in the past week.
401K fully divested of XOM - pre-tax and general dump.
Lump-summed into external IRA for the 20 year stint.
Medical for 2 set up is the only tie that binds. But legally ok.

So for once in life I'm completely separated from demons.
Consulting remotely 20h/wk at same rate with a competitor (well, a superior).

Was coming here the last few months to get some insights.
That is pointless given what is given.
Whines, mostly faked.

So it is adios to all things Standard Oil.

We tend to focus on the negatives - anxiety, regret, shame, blame and disappointments. But 20 years it’s a long time and you must remember the good times, the friends, and all the positive contributions.

So as someone who is still here trying to contribute and keeping things running even with all the bad stuff……..thank you. All the best to you!

Hopefully consulting is a temporary gig and a transition until you break away completely from Owl and Gas. If not, you have wasted your life and are a true Excon Mobil veteran.
