Forbidden by whom? It’s not illegal, unless you’re privy to insider info, which none of you dipshits reading this board are.. It’s just a company policy. Are y’all afraid the company checks your robinhood statements?

I had sold all my EM stock before the pandemic. Decided to buy again when price dropped into 30’s.
My overall retirement fund has grown 43% this year pulled up by the EM stock mostly.
Stock price seems more affected by the price of oil than the actions or inaction of our leadership.
Now to figure out when to sell.

Since XOM apparently has now extra cash to buy shares, why not award them to their remaining employees?

You can not buy options on Exxon as an employee. There is no “disclosure” out for it. You are also forbidden from trading oil / gas futures or anything related to them (like tracking ETFs).
