For those who plan on leaving before bonuses get paid out in February, what are your thoughts on signing that agreement document? I seriously doubt BNYM will mail checks to terminated employees, so I expect not to be eligible once notice is given.

It depends on where you are. Most areas start at J, but parts of IM give bonuses at the I level.
I believe you have to be an I or above but don't quote me on it.
Anybody knows how we get on the bonus list?
Now why would you suggest people ask their manager? Do you realize the uncomfortable position you will place them in? It has always been a secret…..how to get a good review and how to get a bonus. Intended to be that way I think….the less that people know, the greater the chance a managers payment will be good.
The definition of Bonus Eligible should be transparent to every employee.
If you never received a bonus, then ask questions to your manager. Put management on the hot seat.
Anyone in the notice population is also ‘bonus eligible’ which means you might get one, but you may not. If you are not familiar with the terms, it does not apply.
Amazing how many posters on this site are worried about bonuses when 99.9% of the employees don't get any.
What bonus? Never heard of one from
BNY Mellon.
What agreement?
