RTO or WFH, vaccine or no vaccine, covid, all the other fighting... I want the situation to go back to normal whatever the outcome. I want to know what is and what isn't happening and move on. I miss the days when layoffs were the only thing we had to worry about - and those are the words I never thought I'd say in my life.

BofA created all of this stress and uncertainty by sitting back all of this time and failing to plan ahead for how and where we will work going forward. I know that it's hard to plan when the pandemic is so fluid and unpredictable, but it just seems like BofA is behind so many other large corporations with contingency planning and how it's been communicated.
By the way, they have damaged morale and company culture by insisting on RTO while the pandemic is sill raging, particularly during the delta variant spike. The employer vaccine mandate from the Biden administration also exempts employees who WFH, so by insisting on a RTO they have manufactured an internal company crisis which is pitting vaccinated vs unvaccinated employees against each other. This was all totally unnecessary and easily avoidable by just continuing the current posture.
Wait till Skynet takes over. That's when its really going to get wild.
The thing is, this is the new normal. It will take some years for things to settle out. There will be a testing of various "work postures" at all the big firms and in the long run most will settle in one model like the rest of the herd. Quite obvious wall street is on the side of RTO.
I hear ya. This is psychological torture, which I think is how they like it. We never know what’s is actually happening and then they constantly change the rules.
