Laughable Headline: F-150 Lightning buyers are first time EV customers

Unless you are a Mach E or Tesla owner, the market is 97% ICE customers. Who writes this nonsense. Dearborn and Louisville union workers better start looking for work as the traditional F-150 buyer goes to Lightning.

Making an all-electric version of the venerable Ford F-150 was always a risky move, given the fact that there was no guarantee that anyone would actually buy one. However, Ford CEO Jim Farley expressed confidence from the very beginning that the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning would attract a fair amount of customers, and as it turns out, that was true, as over 160,000 folks have lined up to reserve one so far. What’s particularly interesting, however, is the fact that most 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning reservations come from first-time EV buyers, the automaker has revealed.

Phoebe Wall Howard has been completely out of control with her neverending Farley adoration. Even by her usual low standards.

Judging from the Linkedin articles about Ford recently, I'm guessing their assessment is about 1% correct. 99% of those comments appear to be unfavorable towards Ford, since rolling over for these mandates.

Fords stock price looks awfully ready to about crash. Might be the catalyst.
