Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

New York Times deal book conference sponsored by Verizon and blackrock

This is how the corporate funds are being spent. New York Times is the most socialist newspaper in America and vz is partnering with them. Meghan Markle will be speaking and there will be a talk on vote protection. Blackrock is also a sponsor and Hans is on the board of Blackrock. Many are ready for a change.

: @1xmx+1dJuXfH1 must be another one of those lefties or foreigners. "Shareholders" are supposed to own the companies, not "wall Street" -although because of people like you, professional managers have people believing what you say.

Unfortunately most investors are invested in mutual funds in 401Ks managed by Vanguard and Blackrock.

This is an obscenity of Capitalism and has more to do with neo fascism or neo feudalism.

@moj+1dJuXfH1 You just defined capitalism. Wallstreet owns these businesses, not the employee's.

While I have sold my stock my money is on The Americans. Loud. Proud. Garish, self-absorbed with their own lives and those of friends and family. The most diverse country in the history of the world as we know it, with the most diverse landscape, flora and fauna from sea to shining sea.

The true progenitors of "e pluribus unum" - out of the many, ONE. Like the fingers on your hand, each different and weak on their own, but when pulled together into a fist...That's America.

Diverse? Best damn code ever invented to confound the enemy because of our innate diversity was using "Navaho Code Talkers". None of the enemies had any idea what they were saying. We did.

They. The Foreigners. The Euros and the Asians who do not want to be Americans, yet who are bright green with envy because all of their people can't wait to escape and become Americans...well, They hate us and want to divide us by race, creed, color, s-x and sexuality.

That ain't happening. This is America. Been there, done that. We are living for the weekend!

@1nfg+1dJuXfH1

No one is mistaken, Wall Street has not been the same since the 1920's. We are not stupid.

@med+1dJuXfH1 Blackrock has been in politics since there was a Blackrock. Together with Vanguard own almost all of the shares in the world and have control or influence over all public companies and media. Don't believe me? Check out Yahoo Finance plug in any of the majors and look who the Top Shareholders are.

Hans being appointed to Blackrock's board and the the 'De-Americanizing' of the company is by design. These people do not care about America or your sacred freedoms and rights. It is as alien to them as they are to us.

That is why the mandate is being pushed. They have no comprehension of what the USA is and or really don't care, and worse, they think that you do not care.

They are mistaken.

And no matter how much youse all complain online, you stay. That sends a message your words don't mean anything and you might as well be giving a red check of approval.

It doesn't matter what they want. They(Blackrock) are now in the politics, what will they do?

Vz employees are disgruntled with the socialist direction of the company and this support of the New York Times conference , in partnership with black rock, validates this direction. You have employees that have given many years to the company and to want the company to stay out of politics or remain neutral is legitimate.

Given what we know now. I wonder if anybody here was in on 'the big steal'? Blackrock's Larry (eponymously named) Fink is selling out the USA to China. Now you know where all of the changes inside the company have been coming from. A Fink!

Blackrock is the 2nd biggest shareholder of the company according to Yahoo Finance. Both will have real problems after the next election.

There isn't any evil anti American stuff going on. The owners on Wall Street all know each other as friends, but they forgot they are not the government.

Say no more! That is the answer to where all of the foreign takeover influence has come from. Blackrock and Vanguard own or control almost all of the public shares in the world. Lately Blackrock has been backstopping China with USA money, and choking US corporations with ESG and their new replacement for God: DEI (as in Latin "DEI" = God)

This is some really evil anti American stuff going on at the company. Almost all of the telecom Pioneers have been driven out of the business and replaced with foreigners. Now all of our competitors have outflanked us.

Was that done on purpose? Glad I sold all my stock because I do not see a happy future here. Before long the company will be owned.
