Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Honeyhell destroys its workers mentally and physically

I don't know of many people who are not overworked to the point where it's affecting their health and overall wellness. But we can't expect anything better when they keep piling on workload and refusing to hire much-needed bodies to backfill everyone who left or was laid off in the last couple of years. Honeyhell truly deserves that moniker due to its disregard for employees' wellbeing.

6 days a week in China. That's not generous enough. I think it should be 7 days a week. Plus, 16 hours a day.

The first 10 years were good. You give it another 10 and your experience becomes less important to the higher ups. Don’t let the golden handcuffs keep you a prisoner. Go somewhere and find enjoyment over the money.

Honeyhell destroys lives both mentally and physically of both the employee and their family. It’s all about power, control and money at any cost.

Honestly, why should the company change as long as everyone keeps doing it? They will push until the system breaks or rebels.

Honestly, you want VPs fired and this to stop?? All it would take to stop this is if everyone just worked 8 hours a day for 4 weeks. Until then, it your own darn fault.

OP: If workloads effect you in some way, change what you are doing or simply find another place to work.......no big deal!!!

If "day to day" grind is overwhelming, step back, find ways to eliminate non-value added work and start thinking out of the box.

In general, leadership embraces those who continue to push the envelope no matter how vast or seemingly impossible the task at hand may be. Yea, not all attempts turn out as planned so don't let that be a barrier to moving forward.

Worked for me.

Must be a lull in firing and harassing worker bees for the HR trolls to be out in such force!!

Always a victim, never a hero. How do you even get through life, when it's always someone else's fault? Is your mommy there to kiss your booboos?

Excuses for your own failure in life. Suck it up, or move on. There are plenty of good people that are not overwhelmed by their own shortcomings, and can handle simple tasks at work, then go home and live their life.

It's a job. If it's too much for you, move on.

OP: There is a simple option. Take control of your life and move on to another company. I did it and it's not that big of a deal. Honeywell is not going to change but you can.
