Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

This joke we call leadership

Is it just me, or does it seem that our "leadership" thinks that the best way to solve an issue is by sticking your head in the sand and waiting for it to just go away on its own, no matter how long it takes? I can't explain the lack of action on so many pressing issues in any way but that.

The problem with the prior EMIT VP was he left incompetent and corrupt L2s in place. Mobil management tradition - surround yourself with losers who pose no challenge. KS, RB, etc. don't have a clue about IT - admin managers at best with no strategic thinking just s---k-up skills.

You mean you don’t just shout Extreme Ownership slogans at people and call it “leadership?” I mean, that’s all I’ve seen.

@twn+1dKOuQQZ - the past EMiT VP was a narcissist who laid the foundation for the sh-t show that is now EMIT. BK hasn’t helped matters at all, but don’t be blinded by the showmanship of the former guy. He was not all that. Spent more time st-----g his own ego.

I won't trust the clowns we work for with running a lemonade stand.

You are wrong. They are not sticking their heads in the sand.

They're sticking ther heads in their boss's azs, licking and cleaning that part with the expressive tongue skills they have perfected over the years.

They'll just say we tried, but our boss's a-s is not moving yet, so we won't either.

If you look at them from far away, the structure is the same as a giant human centipede. Heck maybe that movie was inspired by our management.

Most of them aren’t capable of leadership even if they tried, let alone effective management. The last leader at XOM that evenly remotely inspired me was the VP of IT prior to BK, MB. He at least seemed like he gave a sh-t, had some vision, and knew what he was doing.

XOM was bloated due to profitability in the past. Nepotism got rampant and now it is basically protecting their own hides. Snakes will always be snakes

They also knew some people are dependent on XOM's and whatever they do, they could get away with it.
