Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

No vaccine, no promotion

For all those individuals seeking a religious or medical exemption for the vaccine mandate, I was recently told that in order to be eligible for a promotion (Director level) they require being able to return to office (I.e. vaccinated). Keep this in mind if you decide to stay and not get vaccinated.

Stay and not be vaccinated? You do realize they are going to be firing the unvaxxed employees right? Everyone will be back in the office fully vaxxed and if you don’t comply you will be terminated. They aren’t keeping unvaxxed employees and letting them work from home forever.

What is a Pro-moe-shun? Is that something that managers get, like a Beau-noss?

I think I've heard those words used in movies. But never in relation to a Fiserv workplace.

Interestingly ‘work from road’ employees aren’t being forced to go into an office at this time.
I’m wondering why they are excluded? And for how long?

Please, the vaccination is just a ploy to get rid of people. WFH for a year and a half supporting and holding this company together. There is no good reason why there can’t be remote employees besides sales and product people. They would have just done something else; probably would have to be a little creative to do it legally though.

No promotion?

Here's my notice as I promote myself into a higher-paying job with someone else. I leave at the end of the week. No, as a matter of fact I do not care if the client has a go-live in three weeks. No, I will not stay and train a replacement. You should have thought of that before treating me like a leper, boss.

The rationale is that you need to be able to come into the office. But in order to come into an office you must be vaccinated. See the play? They are being very selective and clever with how they phrase things so as to avoid lawsuits

Highly unlikely, this is discrimination. If I were a 'protected' person I'd apply for it and sue if denied. Double the pleasure on this one....
