I left T to go to VZ a year ago. The breakup with t was not by choice. I thought VZ was a great place to go. It started out great, friendly staff, great processes and generous benefits. After a year I got the dreaded 10/28 notice. I leave with some bitter taste in my mouth. This V teamer stuff is BS. It’s not as toxic as T but they need to drop this V team cr-p. It’s just a job, we are not their friends as they seem to want to communicate to us. Sad to go but life goes on. The cuts in my area makes no sense as they want growth but cutting sales people will not bring that growth. I wish all of them well, I learned a lot in my one year here. Blessings to all.

that's true (about the friends stuff) I did not come on board to make money, I came to do a job and win customers. The V teasers stuff I rolled my eyes mentally and thought it was hokey and patronizing just like all the stuff about race etc. I am a black man (no damn African American) and was always put off by the obsession about race. Treat me like you want to be treated no better, no worse. Corporate america is too damn obsessed with color of skin, what's between your legs and who you sleep with. Focus on wowing CUSTOMERS by first treat everyone as you want to be treated, funny how that seems to work when its tried. too much patronizing and bs. the more important stuff that is hurting business sales is not being addressed.
I agree. Hans V Teamer problem is a bunch of BS. You’re a V Teamer…Rah Rah Rah until you’re RIFd. How can you take pride of being a V Teamer, be the best V Teamer you can be, only to get RIFd?
I also agree. Get rid of Hans and his stuuuuupid V Teamer program and then we can go back to being Proud Verizon Employees again.
Get rid of Hans
@wwv+1dKivjYl Really? Not a good fit? Ok if thats what you think. I know of many not good fit persons at both so I guess we are all in the same boat of not being a good fit. You are here so I assume you are working for either T or VZ, be thankful you are a good fit and remain that way.
seems like you were not a good fit at T and VZ. Good luck
V-Teamer.
What a way to minimize your work force. These cute names are probably the result of infatuation with some shiny new high level employee who is going to change the world.
Good luck to you. Hopefully you won't land in another T or VZ; you will get in with a company that is more focused on results than moving the social justice needle.
They do the same BS with Veterans, and hide behind them well doing all of this left wing stuff.
Like the old saying goes,”I’m not here to make friends. I’m here to make money”.
Tremendous vision and leadership hiring people only to lay them off in a year.
