Political maneuverings and favoritism are alive and well. Back door meetings and maneuverings to install favorites and allies into key roles. People who are the best fit are not considered unless they are willing to play the game and not speak up. Unless there is transparency and talents are fully utilized, then this will be a sinking ship.

Did you expect anything different? If yes, then you might reconsider who's the id10t.
I was working in an affiliate that received a new LCM. Suddenly all the department heads and key positions were being filled with id--ts. It was amazing how the people that had held positions for many years were replaced all at once.
Finally one day I was in my new id--t Department Manager’s office and noticed a large group wedding photo.
All those id--ts were in that photo from 15 to 20 years ago.
The new LCM had installed all his trusted old friends into leadership positions. The LCM valued loyalty over knowledge and experience.
Favoritism is strong in EM Management.
Allies into key roles is correct. Skill/knowledge/ability is irrelevant. The corruption is real
