Do you think there may be small/medium/large IBM layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

It'll be big over 2022. There will be a shift to more offshore (India) resources. It is what it is.
then pips
No Im sure it will be different this time (eye roll).
FFS really? Of course there will be there will be big layoffs as they downsize.
Rumor I heard was that remote workers do not fall under vax mandate.
Just like they did not have to colocate for some tax incentives.
(even though peeps here kept insisting they would be fired otherwise)
It will probably depend on how many un-vaxed people IBM can get rid of before the end of the year.
There is definitely still $1B set aside for layoffs in the first quarter of 2022. Kyndryl only took 88+K people... seems low. I think IBM needs/wants another 50K gone.
Rumor has it .all unvaxed, even remote will be shown the door first.Thank God
They just laid off 90K through Kyndryl and even managed to saddle them with a ton of IBM debt.
Next they hope to lay off through vaccine mandates. No termination costs.
