Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Monday is the deadline for non union to upload their vax status.

How many people will be off payroll on Tuesday?

I’ve heard nothing in my work group.

Antivax people are, (as demonstrated on this board many times) total sheep to…tucker Carlson? They are a sad, misinformed, angry bunch, and any workplace will be better without them.

No jokes aside, those people commenting on the ewes sounds like biggest group of easy to fire individuals.

@1kbn you have mental problems and should take advantage of the company resources. I am not joking on this. You should talk to a professional. Do it for you and your family

Yea the eweb crowd are the true whackadoos, I am guessing 5% non union is not vaxed, (lot of blubbering from vaxed people against mandate) most of them will beg for exemption. I think the company wants people back in offices & that’s why they are not playing around.

Won't work that fast, but I can't wait. It will be around 300 people I'm guessing.

And let me tell you, the anti-vaxxers arent our best and brightest. (OBVIOUSLY!)

@hda 12/8 is the day you stop getting paid if not vaxed. After that day you can’t come back till fully vaccinated. 2 weeks after the 2 shot

That Nov 15th deadline is the “status” of what employees will do before Jan 4th, 2022 (was Dec 8th fully vaccinated) deadline . If an employee does not respond, then the employee will go on a 59 day non paid suspension, and may be terminated on the 60th day?

A federal court has put the Biden mandate on hold for private companies. The mandate could be dragged out or even found unconstitutional. The courts will have to decide.

Too many spineless sheep afraid to stand up for themselves and their families. It hasn't been a year and they want you to take a third shot of the posion. Soon a shot every quarter, your children will not be able to have children and probably get sick. All because it's easier to obey the masters.

So with the states suing that Brandon’s mandate is unconstitutional if the courts agree can these workers then sue Verizon for violating their constitutional rights?

You won't collect jack. Suspension for failure to comply with company mandates doesn't qualify you for any compensation or aid. But tell you what, make sure you walk and then you can come back here in a year fat with $$ for not working and tell me I'm wrong. SMH.

I’ll take the unpaid leave Monday. That is furloughed and I’m my state u can collect for a year. By then Biden will add another year. I probably won’t have to work the rest of my life. I’ll start voting democratic and collect that government cheese.
