Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

How many people were cut these days?

Any idea how big that number could be?
I'm even more interested in whether the cuts will continue next week?

Well, thanks to this site and the oaf posters here not filtering or censoring their posts, e.g. the AA bloodbath and the copying and pasting of AM's email without redacting the names of those affected, TR employees have been siloed more. Those who know -- managers and the employees who were 'job actioned' -- have been instructed to keep their mouth shut, not post on social media, etc., otherwise the former will join those who were 'job actioned' and the latter will not get their severance.

That is very interesting. If you ever come across that again let us know. Does make sense

@2dtr+1dMfbAKU they pay for the top 100 spot, there was a year recently where my department got sent the link on how to pay for it instead of the actual survey and we were all like "ah ok yes this makes sense now".

Who knows. We only hear who from our department was let go and then have to hear through grapevine about the other departments. With all the experience T R has at sending us useless emails constantly you would think they could send us information on where and who has been let go. And how do they keep making top 100? That boogies my mind
