Does anyone know of any claw action lawsuits against the bank for laying off the oldest and sickest workers ?

In my time here, I’ve seen them let go of plenty of people who have been here for years. Not all we’re elderly if that’s what this post is referring too, but definitely those making quite a bit of money they could cut were let go. Of course they throw in poor performers too so it looks good, but Many had a lot of experience and clearly the bank could care less if they have knowledgeable people here to make things go smooth
Good luck trying to sue. You would have to prove they are picking off by age and they make sure to include a variety of other folks to stay off that radar
It’s a very good package… so good that it’s bound to be scaled down soon. It’s also strategically balanced and weighted with a mix of the high earning older white men and women (the targets), along with enough millennials and DEI hires who are seriously just not cutting it mixed in Although the higher earning older white men and women are the targets, the mix is well managed enough to defeat class lawsuits.
Only a fool would shoot the dice in an effort to do better than this package.
@2wru, perhaps, but that's just because it was posted 2 days after the original post. You have to be really d-mb and inconsiderate to accuse someone of age discrimination with zero evidence and tons of evidence to the contrary.
It’s “class action” and “claw back”. “Claw Action” was in Joe Exotica the “Tiger King”.
You are now free to run wild on the board.
Celllino and Barnes split up into 2 firms. Something this place might think about.
2ruh…d-mbest and inconsiderate comment of the day
how about retire and just enjoy your time w your family ? did you not save enough money the past 30 years? 401k? if not, kinda your prob.
Never happening, there is no basis for it.
Celine and Barnes dial 888-888-8888😎🤣
well, the language I've seen is sort of vague on that point meaning that they can't prevent you from suing, but you can't get damages - something like that.
The separation agreement usually contains language stipulating that if you accept the monetary sum being offered, you give up your rights to sue the firm - this is for many banks on the street too.
Also, how could one prove that the firm targeted sickest and oldest people?
