WTH is going on??? Is there a layoff coming??? Nasty Nasty place to work.

They don’t use the word “layoff”, like they used to. They just say the position is going away and we are reconfiguring you or restructuring you into a new position. If you don’t comply, then you lose severance, and you are terminated. They call it “restructuring.”. And don’t say they don’t do it before the holidays, because they just did the marketing department right before the holidays!
Sams/Walmart do indeed layoff people. Feb 1 starts their new year. Nearly every year they layoff, change around or play some jacked game in January...before new year starts. Didn't last year due to being busy with covid purchases....but they did do some rearranging of different departments. Good luck!
Sam’s club doesn’t lay anyone off they don’t want to pay unemployment benefits for anyone. Stop trying to scare people
Layoff? Before holidays? Yea right. Besides, most.clubs are understaffed. Ours is constantly hiring. Hiring events etc. Could be cleaning house of dead weight? Without further information, who knows
No explanation needed. Gets worse every single day...Unless you are a chosen one or until they get rid of the abusive rude disgusting team leads and managers.
