Masks are absolutely useless, why are we using them still?

Honestly the with the number of members that don't wear mask it is useless. It's just Walmart's way of showing social responsibility. It's not a matter of fact it's, " Hey look we're doing our part". It's disgusting.
Members do not wear masks in our club. It is not required. Don't know about other states. It seems ridiculous that we have to wear them when members don't. Especially since masks do not protect us from members, they only protect the members from us if we were sick.

Masks are required because the virus knows to avoid people with masks. It’s a very intelligent thing. It also understands that if you’re sitting down eating, that you’re off limits. My cloth mask captures airborne virus droplets all day, every day, then I put them right up to my nose and mouth and the virus knows that it can’t get me.
Yep, the break rooms are made out of some kind of magical material. Covid doesn't transmit in these magical rooms. Also doesn't transmit from member to associate. What a great place to work.

It doesn’t keep anyone safe if the members don’t have to wear them also. And since associates don’t have to wear them in the break room, not really keeping each other safe as well. So to answer OP’s question, its all about public perception that the company is keeping members safe, no other reason.
To keep yourself and others safe if you don’t like stay home. All these stupid people have nothing else to write or ask! Why ask her go to your club manager and take it up with him or her. If you come here your getting a answer you will not like
