Can't ship products for 6 months with customers starting to cancel orders. TAC support is worse than ever, blowing off angry customers for 3+ days on cases. Product complexity is high and software quality low. Strong competition in every product segment, left in the dust on SDWAN, Collaboration, x86, etc.
Wall Street is fooled up to now - wonder if the party is coming to an end soon.

“ Product complexity is high and software quality low. ”
That’s what happens when you:
- D-mb down QA test plans in order to more easily achieve 80%+ automation of test cases - Software Quality
- Layoff then overwork remaining developers & QA without leaving sufficient documentation behind - Product complexity
recently when I Google switch, I found there's a company called fs.com which is selling lots of switches, my guess H is behind them. And who knows if fortinet is safe or not, they cheated military.
The 5 Eyes don't trust H's hardware. So Cisco is safe as our biggest competitor can't sell its gear to any of the 5 Eye countries. Now, Arista and Juniper are chipping away Cisco's switching 'n routing business. Cisco is a cash cow, the end game is far away.
I mean Cisco is not the best, but our competitors like H and Z are in much worse shape. For example, Li Jie was the TAC head in H and did a good job, because he was suspected selling Meng Wanzhou out, he was heavily punished. And TAC in H is a mess now.
Cisco might lose some deals to Arista, but the party will continue in North America. We get blank checks from federal/state government deals, and many corporations in North America rely on our switches.
Without cloud, software, or security offerings the future is bleak though.
Yes. The best and brightest will be leaving soon as well. They are tired of the crazy that has infected the company. Wokeness, forced medical procedures, stupid initiatives, low to no raises, terrible management, ELT incompetence, all talk no do.
God please be good earnings call Nov 17 and I will yank it all
