Has anyone put in for a work place accommodation and been given an Employee Relations Consultant interview???
If so, what is expected? Does this mean my request will be denied?

I haven't had as much luck. They asked a bunch of intrusive questions, told me I'll need a doctors note explaining the condition. And that they will try to make accommodations in the office. Before this I've never worked in an office. The process makes me feel less than -- I don't want to have a special cubical, I simply want to work with dignity.
Mine was very quickly approved but due to the rare nature of my condition I won't share it here. I think a few others have tried on my team but got refused.
I had an interview and it was to help them understand the request. It was approved no issues.
Amazing they had us go through the process again for a disability.
I was told that if it was only Covid related it was not likely to be approved.
Luckily mine was for a disability that long predated Covid. They couldn’t really refuse that per ADA laws.
Not everyone work in or was hired to work in an office prior to COVID...

I heard from an Accommodations Management Consultant after submitting my request. Doesn't sound the same as an Employee Relations Consultant and my contact email indicated they would contact my manager for approval - could be your requires additional info but kinda sounds like it might be a decline
