We all know who the wannabe dictator was who instigated an attempted coup because a legitimate election didn’t go his way. Any reference to Germany is the 30s should start there, including how he got elected to begin with.

@1azi+1dQd2Q7I those who do not heed history are doomed to repeat it. How right your point is.

Fear monger if and obstruction is all they have. Certainly not any new ideas, just regenerated failed ones.

But people still fall for it. Einstein’s definition of insanity in action.

@1azi nice to see that with vaccination litigated to death you're jumping to inflation fear mongering.

When that ship sails you'll jump to illegal immigration next?

We know your agenda, same as those since the 80s who have gotten wealthy at the expense of the average American worker.

@1hua is getting downvoted, but his overall point is valid: true hyperinflation - if it happens - is going to wipe out a lot of people.

It's not going to make any difference if you make minimum wage or if you make 300k. Research what happened to the German economy in the 1930's for some disturbing parallels. Towards the end of it their money was devalued to the point where a postage stamp cost a Trillion Marks.

If you're not concerned, you should be...

@1nae

They used to say they wanted to be “the employer of choice.”

And then they stopped saying that, and here we are.

I like how she said they boosted it to $15 "last year" as if 2018 was a year ago. They continue to fall behind with their attempt to remaining competitive.

Coming soon, $1000/hr min wage. Of course, a gallon of milk will cost $5000 by the time you get your paycheck, but who's counting right?

I have always been against minimum wage. A socialist tool.

They can’t just give a deserved raise. Someone else gets screwed to pay for it.

Article says new minimum wage will range from $18-22/hour depending on location (vs currently $15-$20).

Effective Jan 31, 2022.

Those of us just above the new minimums love the wage compression. Maybe next time.

they gutted the benefits for any higher wager earners over $100K mark. Increased benefit costs, no base 1% 401K matching contribution, increased variable comp paid in RSU vs cash bonus, etc. I bet with the company's cost savings coming out of our pockets, they were able to increase those minimum wages and still pad the bottom line.

Raise pay for all of the retail jobs that will be eliminated over the next decade. Good PR move with minimal bottom line impact.

I think it's great, but what about people that make over $100k?
