OSHA Vaccine Rule Blocked Permanently by Fifth Circuit, But Judicial Review Will Continue

When this is all settled, its going to be fun to watch how VZ tries to say "its not us, it's the administration forcing it on us!"

They seem to think we don't remember all the times VZ reaches out to us and ask us to write to our reps for things they want changed, but are dead silent on the mandates.

Every body’s a winner today. I am sure any moment Vz will release and apology to the freedumb researchers. Hopefully before thanksgiving so none of gung-ho-hos make it too uncomfortable for families.

“On November 12, 2021, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit granted a motion to stay OSHA's COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard, published on November 5, 2021 (86 Fed. Reg. 61402) ("ETS"). The court ordered that OSHA "take no steps to implement or enforce" the ETS "until further court order." While OSHA remains confident in its authority to protect workers in emergencies, OSHA has suspended activities related to the implementation and enforcement of the ETS pending future developments in the litigation.“

They've wanted to mandate the vax all along. The fact that the executive order came out was just gravy, so they didn't have to look like the bad guy. I think the number of people who didn't upload proof of the vaccine will determine what they do. If it is a small number, they will just move forward with their policy. If they are about to take a big hit on employee turnover, they'll come in as the good guy saying we never wanted to force this on people. They act like politicians.

You realize that Verizon can still implement the mandate? This only stops the executive order.

I'll bet you $5 that VZ won't push the mandate if they are held legally liable for medical issues arising from the vaccine.

BTW, Here is some new news about the covid mandate: https://www.npr.org/2021/11/16/1056121842/biden-lawsuit-osha-vaccine-mandate-court-lottery

The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is known to lean conservative, with most of its judges appointed by Republican presidents. Six were appointed by President Donald Trump and five were appointed by President George W. Bush, while a total of five were appointed by Democratic Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

You realize that Verizon can still implement the mandate? This only stops the executive order. Nothing to do with private companies.
