Anybody know the new title for client associates? Tracy Lutke said we'd be hearing from our managers this week but ours is on their 2 week mandatory vacation. They should just make all this info public to us instead of piecemeal out to managers to tell us.

My boss has no meeting scheduled to discuss the title change with our team...
Yes, that is how it will work. If you receive a promotion you will be mapped over to your current level and then when you are communicated your review in late Jan you will receive new title/job profile.
@1mzw+1dRmf3hb we have a call scheduled on 11/30 about this. way to wait till the last day..
How do promotions work in regards to the new job architecture? Supposedly on Jan 3, we will be able to see the base pay range associated to our job profile. If we are slotted to get a promotion this upcoming year, will we get mapped to profile aligned to current level on Jan 3, and then a couple weeks later get moved to a new profile?
In my experience, if you were near the midpoint, historically, your raises got smaller and smaller. Now that they've removed midpoints and give only lower and upper limits, it's not clear how that will play out. They say it gives managers more discretion, but if they money's not there (and it seldom is!) their hands are tied.
Same thing happens at Chase. Imagine that.

I know people in that situation and they don’t get a raise as long as that is the case.
So what happens if your salary is above
or near the top range for the new salary band for your job title? Does your pay get adjusted down or do you not see any increase until you are back in the salary range?
@1jxx That's definitely a pro-worker move.
"Market Reference Point (MRP) is going away with the new job architecture."
I just heard this, as well. There'll be a range, but no midpoint.
Meeting on this just got scheduled in our area, but not with everyone on the team. This ought to be good.
Market Reference Point (MRP) is going away with the new job architecture.
@1dfw+1dRmf3hb Does raising the midpoint result in more 1-3% annual raises or do they do comp adjustments to bring folks below the midpoint to the midpoint?
"Are you hoping the midpoint is higher... ?"
Precisely.
@1bjx+1dRmf3hb If you’re already in a role why do you care why the new pay range is for your existing role? Are you hoping the midpoint is higher or what’s the desired outcome? Sorry for the ignorance but not sure I understand
"changes to pay range for each title won't be available until January with the work day roll out"
You gotta be fu----g kidding.
Patience
managers have been asked to communicate the titles by 11/30. on Dec 3rd you'll get an email with instructions on where to find the info your self. they are only giving you the title. changes to pay range for each title won't be available until January with the work day roll out
What are they? Will we all get a new title?
Starting today Managers have the information to communicate your new titles. Guessing at your next 1-1, if you have them, this will be discussed.
There's a misconception that managers always communicate what's required. I'm still waiting for the survey talk and have not spoken with my manager in weeks. That's ok, I have learned to acquire information on my own.
