Jeetu is a Joke. He is arrogant and is in over his head as EVP / GM of Collab and Security. Talks a big game but does not deliver.

the only way cisco win is by selling webex to google. let google deal with how badly webex is. honestly all of webex functionality is so useless and its making webex super slow to load compared to zoom . for teams i couldn't care less about user insight/whatever functionality they embeded into the app. its a stupid piece of junk and theres so many bugs with the new features. please just copy slack/microsoft teams and just have a pure messaging app with ability to join a meeting

also please fire jeetu. I thought he was a product guy. how did he allow teams/webex to become this bad within his 1 year tenure

Collab and Security Executive Leadership to include Sales Executives have literally shrunk the business in a time of COVID when Collab and Security are growing exponentially.

True leaders are able to see the car crash that is about to occur and can take dramatic and sometimes ruthless remedial action to steady the ship and get back to an even keel. Gates, Jobs, Zuckerberg and other true visionaries who understand IT and applications could do this. Cisco collab and security is not blessed with such leadership. We have lost so many customers to Zoom, Microsoft and PA yet I hear no contrition, no humility and a willingness to learn, just the same old smug arrogance about how good they are. It is an outright travesty that amidst Covid, a golden opportunity to push the frontiers of remote collaboration and security, Cisco lost market share. Our message is massively overly complex.

"I wish leaders admitted we are losing hard and openly discuss what we can do to recover instead of always painting a rosy picture ."

That IS what Leaders do. Take responsibility. Sociopaths hold everyone else accountable.

In last several years, how many bosses Collab has changed ? How many reorgs we had in Collab ? And now we have this wanna-be TV star, JP who is obsessed with his podcasts, interviews and every other way of getting in front of camera for wider audience, while we lose huge chunks of "Hybrid Work" market in times when such market is growing !!! And when you think that he was bragging about how Chuck personally had to persuade him to join Cisco, as he already had another job lined up.

I wonder if Chuck feel any responsibility for this ? What will happen if Collab miss yet another quarter ? Will they bring in someone else instead of JP ? Yet another reorg ? Some layoffs ? All of the above ?

Sad as Cisco is a very arrogant company, they are becoming like Avaya desperately living of FLEX agreements which delays until the products are ready. Call Center is a joke! Living in the past missing the future due to major delays in driving a true CCaaS solution, The BSFT acquisition was a major mistake for UC and CC. A very expensive lessons and they are not learning from them. HCS for UC and CC is complete BS and now old monolithic architecture that customer can’t wait to move from. Partners can barely sell it the burden of high cost / maintenance and the lack of support and direction. The TTEC white label BS needs to be dropped (more $$$ out the window) luckily Cisco is cash rich but eating into the stock pile. IMImoble means a complete re-write while the therory looks good on paper it will operate like sh&t. Not migration path and partners are complete fools if they think “oh it will get better”. The leadership team in UC realm are naive and old in the thinking. Too many layers to get things done and ignore partner and end customers all the time. Cisco needs to load shed these business units. Welcome to the days of Avaya living from the base

Jeetu is no Steve Jobs. Jeetu is over-hyped. Jeetu is all talk and is self proclaimed while Steve Jobs let the results speak for themselves.

Our collab portfolio is as strong as it has ever been. Feedback from customers has been very positive. The improvements from Sept ‘19-now have reimagined what a web conference can be. Our work is still uphill but the near term future is very bright.

You say it’s over yet even avaya is still out there doing fine. It’s a long road down.

Missed the big opportunity, aka Covid, and allowed Zoom, MSFT and others to overtake. It's over, Johnny.

The Collab competition has passed us by. It does not look good for the foreseeable future for Collab.
