What frustrates me the most is that at Sam's it is not possible to express your concerns to the manager. I mean, it’s possible, but it’s not recommended if a person wants to keep their job. That's my opinion. The situation in the store is chaotic, but I don’t know if anyone dares to bring up to the manager any of the problems we encounter on a daily basis at work?

Agree with everyone else. If you complain about anyone or anything, you become the problem. We have a member of our department who doesn't even do the minimum. Everyone in the department, other associates who have to interact with this person, and even members have complained and nothing happens. Oh, they've "talked" to this person, but so what. The associate's behaviors change for a day or two and then it goes right back to the way it was.
I hate going to work on the days this person is there. I know, I'll have to do my work, their work, and anything else that comes up.
Just don’t say anything, I ask my store manager few things that is going on, that I also know other associates have complained about! And he play I don’t know anything! Now I know since I say something, his going to try to get rid of me which is fine but!!! My recommendation is to find another job.
Is Sam’s club sh-t don’t change…
When you express your concerns you’re labeled as a complainer or a bi--h. They already know your short handed and stressed and they don’t give a sh-t because everyone is short handed and stressed. Every area and everyone is overloaded so when you says something you’re just stating the obvious,
Some managers add fuel to the fire when you have a problem . I have had it done to me . Had to step down because of it . Adults acting like children that are in charge of the club acting like that is embarrassing .
Sam's Club is managed by a bunch of immoral self-serving thugs.
Tread carefully. Or better yet, get a real job with a real employer that considers a good employee an asset rather than just another business expense.
Godspeed.
indeed....
It is dangerous in our club if you go to the top manager with concerns. He turns it right back on you and says "you are negative". So take my advice, bite the bullet and don't say a word. You will put a target on you back.
