@3xwf - now that’s how a good comms person responds. Probably the only one here…maybe the CCO? explains why he’s been able to survive so many scandals under his watch
Meh, doesn’t matter.
Scandal de jour. No one will remember or care in 6 months.
Not trying to be edgy here. That’s simply the truth of the matter. Nike goes thru multiple “scandals” every year. There’s always outrage both real and feigned, moral indignation, predictions of Nike’s imminent demise, threats of boycotts, etc., etc.
Then everyone forgets or stops caring, assuming they ever really cared in the first place.
(Shoulder shrug)
There’s nothing but truth in the archived post. They just memory-holed it.
Everyone who thought this liability was an opportunity should be fired. Totally self-inflicted
Larry Miller, head of Jordan Brand, wrote in a book about how he committed mu---r as a teenager. He did his time and managed to have a successful career despite having a mu---r rap. The New York Times recently published a piece where the family of his victim questioned how genuine Miller's remorse was as he'd never made an effort to reach out to them before writing about the mu---r in his book.
I have no idea why this site is censoring posts as I don't think it violates their privacy policies. Maybe they just feel it's off topic for a site about layoffs?
LM is the recently confessed mu-----r
what are "LM posts"?
I think they honestly were caught off guard by the blowback and are in damage control mode.
