Hi fellow USA RIF-ees from last year, I just found out about the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program.
If you were RIFed after last February 2020 AND your income for 2020 was under 198K jo--t, 99K single, you are eligible for up to $50 off your internet each month, plus a stipend for a new device. If you are on Tribal Land, there's a higher $$ amount.

Qualification took less than 24 hours, and all I had to submit was my 1040 and my "Your are RIFed " PDF doc from HON. Then I filled out a form at my internet provider's website.
