Good Lord, people can't take constructive criticism these days. They think they joined Fiserv knowing everything there is to know and if you try to explain something to them or tell them they're doing something wrong they act like you just insulted their entire family. If you're new, it's normal that you'll mess up! Don't take it so personally. Take the advice and move on, or we're all screwed.

Did the millennials give themselves participation trophies, or did the boomers hand them to them? Asking for a friend.
Overly judgey boomer alert
Participation trophies far predate millennials.
@auh+1dSpgPwT No Gen X'ers are respectful and appreciative of those that paved the way. Its the spoiled millennials and younger. Those that grew up with social media, the internet, participation trophies and therapists are so narcissistic. They cannot help the disrespect. Its all about them and their feelings.... boo hoo.
Re: Old dude's advice:
The old often forget the first line.
The young have yet to fully realize the second.
Advice from an old dude:
As you are now, I once was. As I am now, you shall be.
Disrespected boomer alert
As a Gen X, I find the boomer alert very disrespecful, and shows that the new generations coming up were not taught how to be respectful?!? Maybe it is because they got trophies for participating and always thought they were the best? I'm not sure, but apparently they know everything.
New Highers? Is that like Bow Nuss? Next you are going to tell me Pro Mow Shuns are real too!
These newbies don’t want advice. So just relax and train your replacement…… unfortunately it’s why they are now here!
If you notice behavioral issues with new hires, you should let their manager know, not just gripe.
They should coach them around their weaknesses.
I'm sorry sir. We'll get off your lawn.
There are literally millions of Gen X who are old enough for AARP now, so spare us the condescension. People who use the word "woke" (or a derivative of it) speak volumes for how out of touch they really are with the world we live in now. The millennial generation currently holds more seats in Congress than the Silent Generation does, and they will eventually dominate. Rather than fight with them, I encourage you to work to understand them, because like it or not you'll spend your golden years in a world they control.
Okay millennial, gen x'r , etc. I can tell you one thing people of my age and older were not as disrespectful to our elders as you are. You are also ignorant about the world. Your wokeness will take down the country and for most of you that is just fine.
Wait...was this OP talking about new employees coming in the door or the OFD Senior Management we've all been saddled with? Seems like an apt description for either.
Give the new people a chance. We were all new at some point. I find it difficult when every team and department I reach out to has a new person and things are taking twice as long. But on the flip side, some of the new hires are eager to learn and have a great attitude and are more willing to help then the long term grumpy employees. Don't get me wrong, I'm unhappy and losing my job but I'm still going to do my best in the meantime.
You people are all exhausting.
My problem with peevish and derisive comments like "ok boomer" is that these younger people can embrace snark, yet not realize they are luxuriating in the supremely boring and safe world that their predecessors built.
I mean, without all those old, boring guys who wore short-sleeved dress shirts, glasses and pocket protectors in the 1960's, there would be no SPACEX today. And to think, most of those guys were from the Slient generation - even older than boomers.

You are so right. It is all feelings over facts. There parents never taught them about sticks and stones. When you are emotional, logic is a foreign language. And that IS the world we now live in. And I am not a boomer (but the person who said this about the OP is a ja----s) I'm just intelligent enough to separate my feelings so I can see the truth.
If you get a new position and know everything there is to know - then you did not get a new job. If you're not learning new anything and occasionally failing to some degree than you are not growing. Get over yourself, start learning.
