No chance of a buyout right now , they are waiting to see who leaves due to the vaccine mandate . So maybe a buyout end of next year if we are lucky .

They are hiring technicians next year and are supposed to be reopening the training center in Virginia that was shut down due to Covid. Plenty of work. Not enough people. You will be moved over to FiOS. No buyouts.

There is always going to be hiring, firing and buyouts. But I don’t see any magic parachute coming in the 1st q. Not with all these nodes that need dark fiber to them. Too much work to do.
Buyouts are a thing of the past. Never happen again. Another thing from the past is hiring they are never going to hire again. Either when the last people here leave on their own that will be the end of the company!

The rumor is a 10 and 10 package and out of the company by tomorrow.
They don't need to buy anyone out. The vaccine is a freebie to fire people.
Heard that rumor too in upstate New York. It would make sense to let guys pension eligible leave with some dignity. It would be good for both the union and the company to make an offer. We will see but I’m not holding my breath on it!
It is BS......there is tons of work and no resources...we just had a headcount reduction...so it is BS
