Not true. It is actually the poorly written applications and / or cr---y product’s purchased from vendors. As a side note - It is amazing to me how many applications are implemented that are not ASPR compliant.
I really noticed slower response times when browsing the Internet for Christmas shopping today. The only reason I agreed to work today rather than coming back on Tuesday was since it was Cyber Monday and I knew things would be slow.
They frequently upgrade the windoze computers. Upgrades sometimes need a reboot or TWO or THREE to get things to work properly. Try at least two reboots and see if that fixes your trouble like it does on mine.
Did any one had the bios update ?
Everyone complaining laptop screens freezing all day long and takes too much time out of the workday. Many have complained to the T helpdesk but no help avail.

It's all about employee trust. Just how much actual work are you doing, and are you doing it per instruction.

Security has priority at cesspool att. Who cares if the machine doesn’t work that means it is secure because no one is using it. The servers have more monitoring software on them than they do applications and what they were meant to do. Really the have to make the servers a lot bigger than they have to be because of all the monitoring crud they put onthem. Probably why they have to outsource the cloud work because all their crud doesn’t fit on cloud systems and so they have just let someone else take the responsibility. Hey but if get chosen to move into security you are golden.
Asset protection exceeds productivity. PC freezes are a good excuse for frequent breaks.
