What is happening, do they have any brain? who is guiding this?

All of those jobs are basically “Admin”. What’s the big deal? Apply for some career track jobs and get going. Nobody is going to manage your career for you… it’s on you.

During my 5~ year 'tenure' at WF, I started off as "Info Security Engineer" then got downgraded to "Systems QA Associate" about four years into it. Had I stayed, I would have been demoted to "QA Analyst" just before my 6 year anniversary.

Now that they've downgraded these positions to "Analyst" I can only imagine what's next.... "Intern"? LOL...

What a cr---y company. I'm so glad I left this dumpster fire last month.

Been here 2.5 years - doing the same role - 2 title changes in that time and will get another one early next year. Only thing that's changed - pay is up 5% and target bonus is down 15%. Score = Wells 3, Me =1 taking a beating here. Maybe I should work 10% less to even the score???

Every time they rename a position, it gives them the opportunity to change the pay scale. A role I began in the mid 2010's was renamed. Someone coming into that role in 2020 would make $20k less. The exact same job function.

you are wrong..associate is almost always higher then analyst...analyst is usually entry level, associate a few years in

I wonder what is a price tag for each of this reorganised and re-titling? QAs had analyst title and last year they were rebranded to associates. I’m totally with OP - this ismoronic

"Analyst" is higher level than "Associate" in virtually every other organization, this is good for you.
