We all know that most Indians are scammers by nature. They scam innocent people through Fake IRS calls. They take away jobs using fake documents and proxy interviews.
And Beware this website is run by indians so they manipulate posts likes/dislikes and remove the posts if don’t like

At the end of the day, IBM and corporate America work for Wall Street; Wall Street investors don’t care about American jobs being replaced in India; they only care about money

Even in india there are different class of hires just like in usa, based on pay.
Indian salaries have risen because of presence of lot of tech companies and startup culture.

Hence, ibm gets lowest of the talent pool in india as well. Hence, they can't hire talented engineers there as well.

It is just of way of lowering cost. (off shoring to India for now). Hoping to get 7 to replace 2 and trying to get one winner out of the group. Good at doing specific task. If cost reduction is your primary goal then its a good strategy. Here the entire project team needs to be Indian to work. Kind of a group mentality.

I worked several times with these overseas "workers".
Among their "talents":
Leaving the scene at 'quitting time ' when a severity one problem still lingered. They might or might now give the incoming tech a heads up on progress.
And lying their rear-ends off on resumes
I interviewed one once and I heard background voices. When I asked that the candidate move to a quiet area, it suddenly became apparent that he didn't know squat.
Ok - so end of interview. Then his parents call me immediately and offer me a bribe to hire him stating that he will work hard at his technical shortcomings. I, of course, wisely declined.
This is what "Cheaper" overseas help brings you. It's no longer the platinum or gold standard; it's "what's good enough".
Last I looked, software either works or doesn't work. It can't be bribed to work.
So - Good luck to Itty Bitty Monopoly.

Due to high dividends to pay to stock investors and earnings pressure to show to Wall Street , they need to find way to cut cost, which means replacing American jobs in India.

Creative accounting On one of my accounts talking with their team lead told me what he made Brought up currency converter and he was making equivalent of 12,500 usd yearly. When I was let go they could hire 7 people and have money left over. Talking with the people in India they acknowledge IBM uses them cause they are cheaper then in the US

In the US, they lie on their resume to get jobs and only hire from their country. They are very racist people, and somehow, if anyone says anything, then we’re racists.

If you think a country of over a billion people doesn’t have talent, then you are foolish. So why is AK hiring in India? Maybe it’s because the talent in NA is getting hired by Amazon,Facebook, Microsoft, etc etc. Remember IBM failed to invest in Scaleout servers (Intel) until it was too late, and that industry has moved past them. As far as employees job hopping, maybe the employer should look in the mirror. It’s the employers job to keep their employees happy, not the other way around. Finally ask any college graduate if IBM is viewed as an innovator. The answer is clear NOPE So IBM is forced to recruit among non-college graduates and go offshore THANKS GINNI It only took you 8 years to destroy IBM

Wow ibmers are a bunch of racist fu--s.

They're not outsourcing to india because ceo is indian you stupid id--ts, they're outsourcing because the ibm gravy train is over and they want to milk more money before the house of card crumbles.

Lot of companies including Google, msft etc. have indian ceos who hire plenty in usa and only have low priority/margin projects in india.

What would you expect from an Indian CEO?? It is just the start, even here in the US you are seeing a slow but steady purge of non-Indian workers at all levels.

Great. Their work ethic is terrible and as soon as the proverbial company down the street offers them more $, they leave. We tried this already with Support and it was a disaster.

Looks like “new” IBM will have approx 45-50% of their head count in India. If you compare to any of the other consulting companies, Accenture being the biggest they are structured approx the same. IBM still gets approx 50% of their revenue out of NA, but they are driving that with less than 20% NA headcount content
