Do you think we will really return on Jan 10th? I heard an HR rumor that a hard deadline had to be set in order to weed people out by the Dec 1st vaccine deadline. I also saw other companies like Apple are pushing it back to Feb and March. I’m personally fine with the hybrid work plan but just curious if we expect the timeline to go as planned.

Just Say No Jan 10th - Jan 13
I seriously doubt that we will return in January given the uncertainties of the new variant of the virus. By the way, I get that Nike is requiring vaccination as a condition for returning employees to the office; however, no one has been talking about periodic testing of office employees? How do we know that we are not transmitting the disease by being all together three days every week? What will Nike do when we have an outbreak? All I am saying is that we are rushing into making decisions that might just make things difficult on everyone. I am concerned and uneasy (yes, I am fully vaccinated - 2 shots and a booster too).
Yeah, having unassigned desks is a great way to control the spread of viruses. I would love to see people showing up on 1/10 wearing hazmat suits.
Tech says everything is on track for Jan 10th. Complete w "hotel desks". No assigned desks.
Nightmare.
I sure hope it’s pushed out.
Obviously, the unpredictability of COVID-19 cases at that time makes a return to the office on January 10th, well, unpredictable. In other words, hard to say for sure, LOL.
