I'm not sure about the United States or other locations, but EM still offers one of the better jobs here with good pay and good benefits. Is it as good as it once was? No. Is it as bad as some are determined to make it seem? Also no. Layoffs are a major problem, but name one company where they're not. Just be grateful you have a job at an uncertain time like this and don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Are you serious? Stay here as long as you can, you probably don’t have the capacity to get a better job somewhere else. The others are not and cannot go happy just because they have a job here.
