Proof of vaccine or submit to mandatory weekly testing email is going out today. Must have Vax card scanned in by Dec 4. Waiting on the details. Going to be interesting.

Even if it's as high as 20% - which it definitely isn't - a petition would do little good. All of these things you're pushing against are still going to happen and it might be better to focus on how to deal with those changes instead of lashing out and being irrational.

Does anyone know of any petitions for employees to sign in protest? Surely we could ban together and create some push back.

Two of my co-workers currently have covid. Both vaccinated by their own admission. If we were together in the office right now, both would have shown up to work with it and since testing will not be required of them, they would have potentially spread it. If you have the vaccine you can still get and spread covid. This is clear science. Testing should be required for 100% if not spreading covid is the goal.

@1ast+1dXOwyiC YES!

All, no matter what side you're on here, this is what matters and what is currently our united issue:

"If Wells were actually worried about anyone's health they would not be requiring a return to the office. We already know that the vaccinated can get, carry and pass the virus (whether a lower rate or not does not matter). The argument about being vaccinated versus not should not be the main point, the question you all should be asking is why are we returning to the office if there is such a risk that it requires weekly testing when we all know that exposure could occur between tests and the vaccinated can pass it anyway?"

For those of you who oppose this mandate, please sit tight while I work on it. I have a meeting with my boss at which I’ll issue my ultimatums, and I’m sure that will clear this matter up. As every Applebee’s manager in five counties will tell you, I don’t take no for an answer. Remember, we are entitled to access to Wells Fargo office property and proximity to vaccinated sheeple coworkers whether we’re wanted there or not.

If employees are not vaccinated then they should NOT be allowed to RTO. Testing once per week is way too late. They could likely have infected the entire work building with Covid virus prior to their next weekly Covid test. That policy of not vaccinated and just a weekly Covid test is a disaster waiting to be.

The post was not about vax or no job. It was about the responses. We are not going to know why some choose their path. Is this going to be what it is like working on site when we return to office? I hope not!

@1qae+1dXOwyiC honestly they are given them an out by testing. This is not an all or nothing like other industries, such as health care. If someone has a condition preventing them from vaccinating that would seem like base merit to get a WFH accommodation and dr note attached. They have to make reasonable accommodations for them which is testing. Now if this post was vax or no job then yes, I would understand your concerns with ME but it’s not, so I’m not really understanding your stance here

This tread is disheartening! What about people with medical conditions and advised to not vaccinate? Markers for Alzheimer’s; history of Gillian Barre; Deep vein Thrombosis; etc. I thought we were about equity and inclusion? From the responses there is no consideration for diversity which appears to be headed to a hostile work environment for those who are tested and and wearing masks when the vaccinated don’t. My heart breaks for those who’s whole career is null and void if they can’t vaccinate. Is Wells going to assume liability for adverse events for those who feel there is no other option? It’s not about liberal or anti-vaccine because everyone is different.

@1tum you must think this is the old WF.

I know of someone who was called, while on bereavement, to finish up training by the due date. Good luck with your after-the-fact submission.

After reading these comments I am shocked so many people are shocked with today’s announcement. The writing has been on the wall for months. Every town hall meeting has lead up to today’s announcement. Back in June it was no, last month it was a coy response of no.
To be honest if the Courts uphold Biden’s mandate WF will have to drop the testing option, as banking institutions are Fed Contractors. That is why Citi bank didn’t give a testing option to their employees. Honestly I wouldn’t be shocked come Feb the testing option has suddenly disappeared and it’s vax or door. Don’t spend your bonus all in one place it may be holding you over for awhile.

@1dyr+1dXOwyiC I would only think RE/ME would be necessary if it’s vax or fired. The testing option gives them an out or another option. It’s not all or nothing

Are you saying that company does not allow for RE and ME? Doesn’t sounds right. I know that today’s notice has no words regardingRE/ME????

They are answered on the site. You will be responsible for getting a test showing negativity if you are going to a work location for work. If you go in as a customer, they cannot mandate a vac for you at that time. But if you go in as a customer and then work there you would no doubt face administrative action for being dishonest. Tracking badges and logins and locations of logins isn’t anything new either. It won’t be hard to see badge scans/data and compare to a submitted test each time. The goal is to be sure we are doing what we can to keep ourselves, coworkers, and customers safe. If you’re the kind of person who would lie or deceive to get around doing this, then that’s what the administrative action is for.

This is not rocket science.

No RE and no ME. The only options being given are proof of vaccination or routine testing.

So, what if there are remote workers, full time that do not go into a branch/office or may visit once a month....and they are not vaxxed. Who is going to be doing the monitoring/testing? Do you have to go to a doctor, do an at home test and provide the results? Do you have to get approval to go into the branch? What if I don't announce myself as an employee and just went in as a customer? what then. Is WF going to have employees tattle and report the person? Some questions that should probably be answered.

OHoT and Saul were signing WFH exceptions like crazy last week.

I'm at a hub and got the WFH exception. Only thing that stinks is if I move to a different position, the exception has to be filled out again and the position has to be WFH. Right now all the openings I see are not WFH.

This company is so backward thinking. Work from home, impossible never work. Must be in hub city else not qualified. Was NYC a hub city prior to his excellency? Now this jab nonsense. Can we get a new CEO, one that does not require 7 uhhh, umms per sentence spoken?

Very few are able to WFH full time, and location strategy is still in effect too, so you’ll want to be within 60 miles of the 9 hub cities real soon, even if WFH. Way less exceptions are being given for that rule.

vaccine stance aside the inability of people to apply just a little critical thinking is truly remarkable. And for everyone who thinks its a hippa violation do a little research. Hippa has nothing to do with your company requesting your vaccination status, once give it prevents th or anyone else with the information, such as your doctor, from sharing it with someone else. As for the current OSHA enforced mandate injunction, that has nothing to do with a private company requiring something of you such as a vaccine. take it to court if you want, youll lose.
