After the latest layoffs I barely manage to get my work done. I literally catch myself staring at the monitor and doing absolutely nothing. It’s not something to brag about, certainly, but I don’t think I’m the only one whose productivity is lower than ever after cuts?
It is clearer to me than ever that hard work makes no sense here. My biggest wish is not to be here next year.

I'm no psychologist nor do I play one on TV, but you've got to find a way to plod forward through the monotony of this abysmal situation some of us find ourselves in until you find your NEXT. Of course, you could just faaccking quit (but please see about a severance) and start applying elsewhere (which you should be doing even if you stay). Don't complain to anybody too much. The more rounds of layoffs you go through the closer that wish will become a reality.
You should leave
