Nike’s marketing keeps evolving and that’s good, Roblox has a lot of potential, but I’m personally skeptical that Nikeland is a brilliant idea and that Gen Z will be thrilled about it. Any thoughts?
(I realize it's not about layoffs but perhaps there is a place for this topic on this forum as well)

Personally not a big problem at all to have it as a new space for Nike to market in. I think they picked the wrong platform to do it within. Roblox has been a company for nearly 20 years already. Hardly a new thing, it just has the buzz of the moment.
Nike has always struggled with long term platform investments outside their walls. I personally think the long term play will be where this whole strategy lives or dies.
If we’re talking about Nike in the same breath as Peppa Pig, we’ve already lost.
No, but they'll have an attraction called "Sling the Merch" where you get to play as West Coast Joe.
yeah you can organize sales meetings teaching everyone how to sell NFT assortments
Will "Nikeland" include Mommy and Daddy having nervous breakdowns in their cube or in tears because some tyrant VP cant treat people like actual human beings?
LOL...the least of my worries. I DO NOT CARE
When I saw it announced my first thought was "OK Boomer". Old company trying to be hip and young.
This is ridiculous and totally counter to getting kids exercising. Remember "Made to Play". This is just na--d advertising to kids, getting the logo imprinted early and building a rapport with the brand. Financially, I can see that this could be a good thing, morally it is rather disgusting and shameless. Technologically speaking, don't believe the total brain damaged people in tech "innovation" trying to hype this as the second coming of the internet, it's not.
Hey, if Peppa Pig World can make it, Nikeland has potential.
