Yep, outside analysts are already suggesting Ford can sell part of the stake to fund more investment in electric programs, so why not to offset losses?

There are two types of press releasees. GOOD NEWS to WS that paints a rosy picture on how well the company is going. After this is reported then Senior management tells the employees on how bad things are going and we need to sacrifice to get back on the glide path. But we know Big Jim will not suffer for his bonus. Just the common folk will do that. I wander what the total cost of the MACH E program? Looks like all new Sheetmetal and interior so with 60k units that tells me that program will not pay for itself (ROI) in 4 years. So that still tells me that F-Series ICE is still making 90+% of the company profits. A one trick pony again. They were lucky with the Rivian IPO. Sooner or later that cat will lose its Nine lives.

Yes they need that bit of accounting in the financials so the company can appear profitable.

Mach-E at less than 20,000 units. Shaky foundation to build the future of Ford on don’t you think?
