Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

May be changing BUs - does this hurt my pension?

May be moving from ABS to SLED for a sales role. I'm LegT, not old enough to retire but am under the LegT pension. If I move to SLED, how do I know that my LegT pension does not get ki---d by some well hidden rule?

Are you asking if your pension stops when you move to a sales position, selling to State Government, Local Government, and Education customers? It's not a well-hidden rule. It's an obvious one. E-rate determines what schools and libraries are allowed to pay. They're only funded for government pensions, not yours. Focus on the government accounts and you will be fine.

If your moving ABS to SLED and LegT try SLEDGE, no hidden rules in SLEDGE.

Your pension stays with the original employer, assuming no bridging of sevice.
