Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Tell them status or pay

So if you want your full medical plan discount you will now have to give them your vaccine status by 12/31/21. So much for privacy. Why bother to get the wellness exam? They aren’t even giving us until February like the wellness exam either! While this doesn’t shock me at all I do believe the bank will be surprised to see who still won’t share their vax info

BofA is greatly increasing health risks with the current RTO plans due to the likelihood of breakthrough infections combined with a continuous decrease in vaccine efficacy within 6 months of shots in arms. Most of us are not currently spending 40 hrs/week working in open shared workspace offices with dozens of others.

If you want to minimize medical costs then allow people to continue remote work who choose to do so and institute a hybrid work model that rotates teams in and out of office to reduce capacity and maximize social distancing.

The bank is self-insured for medical insurance, it means we basically all pay into a pool of funds utilized to pay our insurance claims, the companies we select (BC/United/Aetna) basically administer and have their networks of providers, they aren't actually paying the medical expenses, they come from the pool of funds (exception may be Kaiser). The medical costs for those employees not vax'd are likely to be much higher, thus I have no issue with the bank not granting the premium reductions.

Is their a vax status of Non-GMO. Can I be the Non-GMO in the office? I like the sound of that.

It’s only mentioned on the Virgin site under the rewards. Nice way of keeping it off of the bank network.

I still will not tell them and it will cost me a grand. $500.00 for me and $500.00 for my spouse. It will be well worth it. As soon as you acknowledge the fact your vaccinated they will call you back in the office.

@cai+1dapUVBS Thank you! I see that in the Virgin Pulse site where we complete our wellness activities. Actions are now "Health Questionnaire", "Health Screening" and "Vaccination Status Tool"

Confirmed at the site where you track the discount activities, pulse. Once you enroll and go there, it'll tell you to maintain your discount you will need to disclose vax status by 12/31/21.

?? Confirmed where?? if you're using the estimator, it now includes projected out of pocket expenses as well, so you have to back those out if you want to compare cost to 2020. When I look at the tracker, I see that it shows my discount is reflect. I totally am not surprised if they are going to handle it the way described. But I've seen this info on several posts and no-one says where they "confirmed" this to be true.

Looks like more people will be back in the office in 2022.

Confirmed true.

Looks like my insurance just went up $500. Sucks, but it is what it is. Sad that the bank has bought into all the propaganda.

Yeah it’s true. Just checked myself. Worth the $500 to me to not tell them.

Here we go…more complaining. If you don’t like it, you can look for another company to work at. Why stay if you are so miserable?

You must be slow. The entire country is going to have to be vaxxed to work, travel, eat, etc. Wake up.

BTW, they owe you nothing.
