Few years ago I was very happy and content working here. My work was appreciated, the manager was a fair and rational person, the atmosphere was competitive but not toxic. Now, I don't have a manager who is fair and whom I can trust, I work more than ever and my efforts are not valued at all, backstabbing is the new normal. How satisfied are you with your career here?

For many of us we were the high performers and never worried much about RIFs. Now that we're downsized so much, for the first time we have to worry about losing our jobs. Not a fun feeling. Makes the job a little less enjoyable and the dog eat dog begins. It's become a zero sum game.
What's a cubicle?
So sorry you’ve been having such a tough time with your Manager later. Im going through the same thing.
This is what my Manager told me the other day… sound familiar?
“ Uh… we have sort of a problem here. Yeah. You apparently didn’t put one of the new coversheets on your TPS reports. . Yeah. You see, we’re putting the cover sheets on all TPS reports
now before they go out. Did you see the memo about this? Yeah. If you could just go ahead and make sure you do that from now on, that will be great. And uh, I’ll go ahead and make sure you get another copy of that memo. Mmmm, Ok?“
OMG..I just read this. Sounds like you.
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that’s on the worst day of my life.
