Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

This place is a joke

We cannot execute on anything anymore. There have been so many cuts in back office that nothing can get done any more and advisers are walking out the door left and right. The only thing Charlie is worried about right now is getting people back in offices. Maybe we could This be a bit more successful if we put more care into the service we provide our clients and our revenue producers. The WIM listening tour was a complete joke as well

@1gk I'm sure many people who left WF still come here to see the sh-t show they left behind. I don't blame them. Why not watch the train wreck?

@iks and you still hang around here? sad and petty.

you're either a liar and never left, or a loser who can't let go.

I left WFA in April to a competitor and almost cried (tears of joy). The grass IS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE. CONFIRMED 💯

Welcome to my tech nightmare. No one can stand up and speak the truth here. Going to Agile will not keep the train on the tracks. This how large corporations fail.

Tech is a nightmare.

Support teams have no clue what they need to do if something doesn't go as planned due to so many new bodies. App teams are too busy trying to keep up with the schedule that they can't provide good data to ancillary teams. Ancillary teams have been cut so deep that they can barely keep up with the workload, leading to misconfigurations and incomplete setups.

Which wouldn't be a problem if the prod support teams hadn't also been impacted by all this.

Then there's the whole set of new software systems we're getting. Management acts like they are ready, but in the training it's obvious that we're headed for the wild west. Us who use the software on a daily basis know we're flooring it while heading towards a cliff.
