Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Observation on Frank

I was in only one meeting with Frank speaking directly to an internal group of employees. Did you ever notice how he behaves/acts sleepy. I attributed it to being not interested in what he was saying, more words, self-centered, than motivation to the group. But maybe he is kind off or on meds.

One of his reports introduced him and basically said we should be honored that he took the time to talk to us. Didn't use those exact words but had to laugh. It's all about making him the king.

I think he always sounds drunk or high. Someone said it's from his previous throat cancer. While I do not care for him, I am sorry that he had to go through that. I believe Frank's dream was to prove to Jamie Dimon he could be a CEO of a Fortune 500. He may have the official title but he will never be viewed as a CEO in the public eye, by Fiserv associates or by his colleagues. To be a successful CEO you must have a good balance of business & people management skills. He is out of touch with the majority of his associates--the non-millionaires. He lacks empathy and clearly doesn't understand how his business works. Asking people to go into an office to "collaborate" when the teams are literally scattered across the globe. Expectation of teams to answer/join bridge lines on weekends and at 2am from home to troubleshoot but then go to an office 5 days a week? You simply cannot have it both ways. It's terrible what he has done to Fiserv and the board of directors should seriously consider having him continue as CEO.
