What are the differences between management benefits and craft benefits in former bellsouth region

Craft definitely makes more than L1, but once you get to L2 in a technical title, you’ll only make more with a lot of OT.
Craft drinks good beer, managers drink Milwaukee’s best light in a can if they can afford it.
Craft makes a lot more, has better insurance/benefits, more vacation and is generally less stressful. Not sure where there’s any benefit to being in management unless you make it to a third level or higher. Even then, the only job that seems worse than being a manager is being a Wire Tech.
Managers make less cause they get scared a-lot, not able to do any of the work. They usually get fired also.
Craft is better money, better benefits (at least for now), better job security. At the current pace, the only benefit worth anything is PTO.
Always been the case management pays for bargained health insurance. $100 increase for retired spouse in 2022.
Craft makes a lot more money than 1st & 2nd level managers after 1 callout or about 3 hours of OT and Craft benefits are better.
Craft has better job security for one.
