Later this month - DW speaks before Congress. What can he possibly say?

I do watch C-SPAN. Usually re-runs of the days events as they edit them for 'interest' I guess. Make no mistake, as C-SPAN is not a govuhment entity, like the Federal Reserve, it is an independent body. But I will watch it LIVE on the day.
I saw Zuckerberg there - even saw Gates and Murdoch there.
Not sure if Musk has ever been there, but that scent is always in the air there.

But my main interest - and I'll take a mental health vacation that day - is the upcoming testimonial of our own CEO on a TBA day and time later in OCT 2021.
I'll even listen to the first hour of investigatory self-congratulations of the politicians before they introduce My Man.

It is sad to say, but in my own mind, I cannot imagine what will be asked of the Man.
But even less, what can He say?

Anybody got a handle on this?
I did get confirmation that the pippy fraud layoffs will get at least a mention from on Congressional member. His cousin-in-law got the piratical heave-ho.

Other than that, what will be asked and what will Durwood say?

This is a topic worthy of this Layoff board.
Durwood's performance is everything and nothing.

But it is not until Oct 28.
Post it again on Monday that week.
Attention span here is ehhh.

The scheduled date is Thu, October 28.
House Oversight Committee.
API exec will be there too.

If there was any real purpose for this hearing, it would start on a Tuesday and probably two days. Thursday hearings are for news chum.

It will certainly be sound-bitey.

The layoff topic won't be discussed much at this hearing.
But it should be.
All of the companies involved utilized Covid and related factors to 'down-size' and 'out-shore' while receiving US government assistance (taxes or debt).
What does it matter really.
Nature will shake our bones in a cup.
Snake-eyes.

There will be many CEOs at this meeting of the Congress.
So there is possibility any single company will be of little exposure.
EM has good reputation.
I will look at the O&G Journal after to see who rated highest in responses.
It will be like your Masked Businessman pluses and minuses.
Olympics O&G. Ha.

It's probably not going to be softball.
Has EM ever been in a scrum?
Maybe they planned and surveyed and profited from battlefields, but never really been on one. During the battle.
