Americans are capable of doing all of the tasks the BTC is doing and doing these tasks in a superior Quality if giving the time, tools, training and clearly defined tasks. However, the opportunity to employ BTC at wage levels so much cheaper than Americans, the consideration of elevating the skill set of American employees wasn't even an option. Fire American, hire BTC is the only goal. Please don't insult Americans saying they can't deliver a highly Quality work product! They only exception to this might be the younger, lazier hires that don't know how to work HARD! The new beliefs of do less but get paid.

In all honesty, they are doing my job now better than I was ever doing (because I was busy doing id--tic presentations for my leadership than doing actual work). I am happy as work gets done on time and well. I am getting my work done as well working with them and can focus on real things like presentations to leadership and myself becoming leadership soon !
When I become leader I am going to use BTC even more - I have ideas that they can do get more out of my field that I know my guys wouldn’t want to do (code digital surveillance, do true root cause for failure etc)
BTC is being successful for two reasons: 1) - we are failing in our jobs because leadership is failing in giving right resources to do right things. 2) they are doing quality job in real things - they are a quick study.
What can BTC improve — communication is a challenge sometimes even though they speak English. Need them to be polished. Short crisp sentences. Same for other places, but it’s needed more in BTC than campus.

The benefits are simple and manyfold. Let me lay it out for you if you cannot see it:

  1. Id--tic Upstream employees can fly business class, stay in five star hotels, collect perks on company dime.
  2. Greedy people trying to squeeze extra cash of bleeding and dying EM through ex-past assignments. They don't care about cost saving.
  3. People who are braindead and have a dead career, can show up at BTC and use the good old toxic titles "supervisor" and "advisor."
  4. For executives to claim fictions cost saving victories until they retire with fat package
  5. For sycophantic new graduates from low grade colleges in India to have a job that can fuel their sycophancy

They help us out with SAP organization, analyzing compressor and other equipment trends, and some early stage project organization. They are helpful to an extent in the manufacturing world... seeing people at campus complain about BTC and KLTC is really similar to how folks at the manufacturing sites complain about the campus people lol
