I hear you residents and Engine #1... Loud and clear! I've been working on a plan, and not only have BK and I developed it, we've already begun implementation across the Houston campus.
After months of meetings between several committees, we've determined we need to be more "GREEN." So, to accomplish this goal, we've implemented several new initiatives at the Houston, the Crown Jewel of ExxonMobil.
First, I've instructed groundskeepers to let the flowerbeds to become overgrown. This will allow more green growth to take over and is an important step. Just start taking a look at this initiative as it's flourished more than I imagined.
Second, I've instructed groundskeepers to allow grass to grow tall along the outer ring road and overgrown the roads. Not only are these grasses producing much needed oxygen, but they look good too, from my Irving office.
And Third, I've instructed maintenance staff to stop cleaning the outsides of the buildings, allowing for "fuel", in the form of green algae, to grow on the glass and stainless steel. Just think, we are producing energy by doing less... Wow, how amazing this is. Thanks BK for the idea. I just love that we're all in this together and growing stuff as a family.
Ah! I almost forgot the most important part. As you guys have been living without any increases over the last year or so, my stock has gone up with the dividend being maintained. I bet all of you are GREEN with envy... huh?
I just want to really say thank you for all of your hard efforts and sacrifices as we make it though these trying green times together. Someone has to sacrifice... right?
