EM Employee Product Discount Program

New changes to the gas discount program. You are no limited to three authorized users in addition to the employee. So, if you are married and have three children, you have to either cut out your spouse or one of your children. That is very smart EM! If the discount limit is $70, why care how many users you have? The more users, the more use (duh) and thus you make more money. Brilliant idea to cut out a family member.

The discount isn't much. Deduct the taxes and then percentage is on the fuel portion. Near where I live xom is consistently at least 20 cents more per gallon than anywhere else.

Been working here 3 years and I've never heard of getting a discount on gas.

The employee discount program is cr-p through and through. As soon as I Learned that I had to apply for A credit card to get a gas discount while working for an oil and gas company, I realized that the benefit was not discounted gas, the benefit was the ability to apply for an Exxon credit card. The discount doesn’t even apply upfront, it only applies when you pay the car off in full every month. I stopped buying gas from Exxon that day.

come on this is not EMIT... you people can't figure out which cost centers are willing to foot the bill of these staff discounts. ask this to your manager's manager's manager in the next AMA or Townhall. then when they finally agree to increase the discount to $80, they need to get alignment with 2,000 other cost center owners

Likely EMIT cannot find a way to increase the limit because they are busy with the robo-dog

Who cares. Simply fire all employees of CSR (Clinton, NJ) and save money for more useful things.

OP: I suggest getting divorce. Then you and two of your kids can use it. Solution is right in front of you and you are not seeing it. You are clearly not an ExxonMobil HiPo material.

Doesn’t matter. I quit buying gas at Exxon a long time ago.

The amount of users isnt an issue....the $70 cap is the issue for those with multiple drivers in their family. I have 3 physical cards under my own name....wife has 1 and my 17yearold has the other (so technically 1 card). But we often get $80+ in discounts each month and i expect that to keep increasing with gas going up. Yes, you can also just share the log in to the exxon app.

Thanks employer....another way to nickel and dime us. We are about to make Billions this quarter but we keep cutting employee benefits.

Wait, is the discount limit really $70? Per year or month?

Just use the app under the same card then you can have as many users as you want. It logs you out after each user but login is not difficult.
