there is not a 5% layoff this coming week. FAKE NEWS.
WFH = long vacation with pay. RTO also long vacation with pay but dead weight at least have to show up
20% of tech as most do 2-4 hours per week
5% is nothing. My marketing group could lose 50% and still be over staffed. I know people who haven’t had any work since May.
I probably work one day per week, not by choice. No point in leaving because a package will take me to retirement, but I sure don’t understand the younger people. I guess because of WFH boredom is not a factor.
