Wish here in District 3 that the local Union would inform us of whats takn place! We r the stepchild of the CWA for sure

A.) company took govt money so they could not do layoffs that’s why they offered that big buy out in addition to sip ( which they never have done before) and B.) they just hired a bunch of temps that have a 2 year contract. They would be forced to lay them off before they could lay off regular employees. Union did nothing to get this.
It’s funny that the CWA negotiated a surplus cease until 2023 across all contracts, but all the members are mad enough to leave the union because of this COVID thing. Same nonsense as always. They’ll find anything to complain about, just to complain.
40 technicians went to the jacksonville local last Tuesday and voted themselves out of the union. Everyone should be fed up with their lack of aggression against the things the company tries to do. It’s obvious the only way to get their attention is to stop your membership and call payroll.
They are just dogs waiting for T to pat them on the head. That’s what they are. I just chuckle every time they send out the email template “saying we are fighting for you and insert topic of the day”. They don’t do cr-p!
District 9 is no better. I agree with asking for dues back. Whether or not they’ll honor that is another thing entirely.
District 4 is just as bad
$ talks, bs walks. As long as u keep sending them a check every month nothing will change. We should be in the 2nd week of strike/walkout by now.
It’s not just district 3. District 7 is the same. They have no will to fight.
Start asking for your dues back.
Right to Work states, stop paying dues. Other states, ask for dues refunds.
We are paying for representation and getting flipped off in return.
Go to their website and complain . Of the locals not giving you want you want , find your district 3, district level rep . I’m in district 4 and just emailed one yesterday myself . We may not like the way things are going , but not tacking ACTION will keep it as it is . Let your voice be heard and take action .

The Union is where you go when you cannot learn the job or don't want to work.
Then after you sneak in, you drink, wh0re, use the Union CC for trips, food and maybe even HD to buy "supplies".
What a waste of money. No talent. No representation but make sure to sign up and be a member in good standing.

Are you kidding ??!! The Union is the same as if you took your car in to have major service tune up , oil change etc. AND all you got was a tire air pressure check. Outrageous dues for almost nothing. The stewards are mostly individuals that are avoiding work. The officers are mostly conducting useless meeting. The VP and President are cozy with a political party and support those politicians with millions of dollars. No product produced and hardly and services rendered to those who pay dues.
